The L'ORÉAL and UNESCO International partnership "For Women In Science" program is an extension of the "Fellowship for Young Women in Science" national program, being carried out successfully since 2003 in Turkey. Turkey National Commission of UNESCO and L'Oréal Turkey to promote the scientific study of science in collaboration with the women in our country for the purpose of the scholarships will be granted in 2020.
Three young women researchers who are doing research in the fields of Life and Environmental Sciences ”and“ Physical Sciences, and who have not been over the age of 40 as of 31 December (2019) of the announcement year for the scholarship applications will be supported with one-year scholarship worth 75.000 Turkish Liras.
Research interests include:
Life and Environmental Sciences: Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Ecology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Bioinformatics including Health Informatics, Neurobiology, Biomedical and Artificial Intelligence research in Biology.
Physical Sciences: Basic Sciences (except life sciences) and Engineering, Granular Materials, Polymers, Glasses and Ceramics, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Specially Designed Surfaces, Photonic Crystals, Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics.
