İklim Değişikliğine Uyum Misyonu, iklim değişikliğinin etkilerine karşı direnç oluşturma amacıyla AB bölgelerini, şehirlerini ve yerel otoritelerini desteklemeye odaklanmaktadır. Misyon 2030 yılına kadar en az 150 Avrupa bölgesi ve topluluğuna iklim direnci konusunda destek olmayı hedeflemektedir.
Misyon'un hedeflerine ulaşması için 2024 yılında açılan çağrısı kapsamında Avrupa Komisyonu tarafından 9 konu başlığı desteklenecektir.
